The Wasatch Plateau is mostly gentle rolling hills where there is lots of exploring to be done. A vehicle with good tires and some clearance will open endless opportunities to hike, especially with kids since the roads do all the climbing. This group also includes the San Pitch Mountains, Pahvant Mountains, Tushar Mountains, Fish Lake Hightop and the San Rafael region.
