Redondo to Dash Point Kayak Trip
This segment of Puget Sound starts at the busy Redondo beach but soon runs along the Lakota Bluff. Here homes are built high above the water with the occasional stairway dropping down to the beach. Next, the route passes peaceful Dumas Bay. Depending on the tide, you may be able to go far into the bay to some public park beaches. Two are there, I've put links below on visits I've made there by vehicle. After Dumas Bay, the route passes some secluded beaches from the former boy scout Camp Kilworth. After that, it passes some very secluded modest homes before reaching Dash Point State Park.
