Cascade Springs Hill
Just above Midway off Cascade Springs Road (Highway 220) is a nice little hike to take the kids. The trail is a 4WD road with little shade so it melts out fast and since the elevation is fairly low for the Wasatch Mountains, it makes for a good early season hike. Most of the hike is within Wasatch Mountain State Park.

Route:
From the parking area at the pass, walk up the road over a few false summits. Before long, you can see the final highpoint with a 100 foot loss of elevation between. Take your time and before you know it you're on the summit. The top is very flat so the highpoint is anyone's guess. You'll have to step off the road for about 100 feet to find it.
From Midway, follow signs or your map up Cascade Springs Road. When you hit the first pass, you are there. A 4WD road shoots uphill to the south. If you like, drive as far as you can...even to the summit. There is only one spot on the route (around 6,980') that has a really eroded section. Other than that, I would have driven to the top.
