Funeral for Jennie C. Scanlon (Willhite)
Jennie Willhite, daughter of Smith and Mary Jane Willhite was born Nov. 7, 1880 on a farm two miles south of Toronto
Are they Jennie and Jessie?
They certainly look like they could be twins, especially since they are wearing the same dress. They are on the left side, behind Smith and Mary Jane which would make sense. They should be in the picture around 1900. If this is them, they would be 20 years old in 1900. These girls look more like 12 to 14 years old. If this picture is because of the marriage between William H. Jones and Emma Willhite (positioned prominently in the center between both parents), that was in December 1892. The twin girls would be 12, which is just right for how they look in this picture.
