Wanlass Hill is a minor bump in an area that can be quite scenic in early spring. Wanlass is very close for most of Utah County residents and should be a easy way to spend a few hours exploring an area you otherwise might ignore.

From the saddle, walk the very steep jeep/ATV road uphill. At the top the route levels out a bit and turns south. The trail will get close to the summit but a little bit of easy cross country walking will put you on top. Views of the Wasatch Front with Utah Lake below are dramatic as well as the ignored East Tintic Mountains.
Bonus Peak: Blowhole Hill
Lower than Wanlass and not interesting at all, I only list it here for the die hard peakbaggers who want to get another official peak in. See map for directions. Blowhole Hill is mostly a drive-up if you have high clearance 4WD.
Wanlass Hill is just north of a popular area called Chimney Rock Pass. The area is popular for ATV use, camping, as well as shooting. Spur roads are everywhere so the exact road in the end may be a little tough finding. Chimney Rock Pass Road is off of Highway 68, the one that goes along the west side of Utah Lake. So take 68 south out of Saratoga Springs or Hwy 6 west out of Santaquin/I-15. The signed turnoff is around 7 or 8 miles north of Elberta on the big straight stretch of the highway.
