Amazon Jungle Hike

We were taken down river to a trail for a jungle walk to try to find monkeys and learn about the medicinal plants and trees. Along the way, our guide would make various items like an umbrella, or find various insects unique to the region. After the hike, we visited a nearby native Caboclo (family), to see how they live in the jungle growing crops and learn about the Mandioca (cassava) process. As the pictures show, it started to down pour on us and did not stop for over an hour.
