Emerald Pools - Zion National Park

Emerald Pools is a trail built to get people off the valley floor but not too high where you exert too much energy. The pools are not even that interesting....at least to me. Interestingly, the park claims more people have died on this simple trail than Angels Landing...probably because people do not think about the dangers on this trail. My 3 year old was able to do the whole loop himself although the park says the trail is moderate. There are three trails altogether, the Lower, Middle and Upper Pool Trails. They can be combined and most reach a pool, ledge or cliffy viewpoint.
