Located on the 50 mile Lake Chelan, this State Park has a long sandy beach with shaded picnic tables and a calm lagoon. Water activities include swimming, boating, fishing, water skiing, paddle boarding and windsurfing. The park has a one single-lane boat launch open 8 months of the year. Other park activities include hiking trails, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, a kids playground and open space. The park has a full-service concession offering groceries, prepared food, candy and packaged snacks. The park provides one kitchen shelter without electricity plus 52 unsheltered picnic tables. All are available first come, first served. Be advised the parking area is small and fills early on weekends. There are around 17 utility sites and 103 standard sites, but reserve early in summer, they are popular. There are 5 restrooms with showers.

Lake Chelan State Park

In 1942, in response to increased tourism in the region, State Parks bought the first parcel of land that would become Lake Chelan State Park. The park opened in 1943.
