Unique Utah Sights
Everybody knows Bryce Canyon National Park but Bryce has a little brother to the west. Cedar Breaks is not far off the I-15 corridor making it much more accessible as well. At 10,000 feet on the rim, you look into an eroded amphitheater full of rock spires, fins and the famous hoodoos. The area is 3 miles wide and over 2,000 feet deep. There are few trails inside the hoodoo area like Bryce but the overlooks are quite dramatic. Most trails are rim hikes. Combining Cedar Breaks with a drive up Brian Head makes for a good outing.
