The Field Museum of Natural History displays 4.5 billion years of history. The museum is one of the largest natural history museums in the world. The museum has 24 million animal specimens with thousands on display. Many exhibits are of anthropological collections and cultural artifacts from around the globe. A highlight is the largest and most complete T. rex ever found. Displays range from the earliest fossils to current interactive programming demonstrating today�s urgent conservation needs. Other collections include the full range of existing biodiversity, gems, meteorites and fossils.
