Three Brothers

Teanaway Hikes
Three Brothers is part of the Teanaway peaks and one of the lesser climbed due to its distance from any access road. It is one of the most east high peaks making it more likely to have better weather and less snow in the spring (the optimal climbing season for the Teanaway). There are numerous routes you could use to get to the mountain but generally, the Stafford Creek Trail is most common. This requires nearly climbing Navaho Peak, then descending to a saddle before the final climb to the western peak of the Three Brothers. A few off-trail routes are more direct and often used, but one could stick to hiking trails and climbing trails for the entire route, just requiring a few extra miles of travel. From the summit of the west peak, you can traverse to the middle peak via a class 2-3 scramble. The middle peak once had a fire lookout and is accessible via a hiking trail from the east. Unfortunately, that hiking trailhead is long since closed to public access do to private property in the region that gated access from Highway 97. The map below shows some of the trail and off-trail routes.
Summit Elevation: 7,303 feet
