Summit Lake Hike - Camping on Carbon River

We camped along the road near the Carbon River Entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. We were planning on camping at Ipsut Creek Campground in the park but the road was closed. Saturday we were going to hike to the Carbon River Glacier so we had to come up with a back up plan. We ended up driving up to the Summit Lake trailhead to hike to the lake.
