Brandywine Mountain

Coast Range
This is typical of what you get elsewhere in the Coast Mountains outside of the few popular maintained trails. It is located in an unsigned wilderness, along an unsigned and constantly changing maze of logging roads west of Highway 99. If you have a 4x4 you can drive right to the alpine and avoid the wickedly steep, muck and blowdown filled trail to the meadows 8.4 miles return, 1970ft gain. From here its an additional 2190ft climb to the summit of Brandywine Mountain.
Brandywine Meadows
Hidden among the countless mountain ridges visible from Brandywine Mountain is Mt. Cayley, a little known, but still active volcano.
