For a great overlook of the San Diego area, and sea views, Cabrillo will not disappoint. You will also find lots of history here about Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo who led the first European expedition that explored what is now the west coast of the United States. The Old Point Loma Lighthouse is one of the main attractions, there is a visitors center, gift shop, as well as short hiking trails to various cliffs and tide pools.
