Cascade Marine Trail Camp on Blake Island

For paddlers, the quietest camping location is the Cascade Marine Trail camp located in the NW corner of the island. Only human or wind powered boats are to use this site so there will be fewer parties, dogs and people walking through your site. There are just three camping spots, all next to each other on the open sandbar. Blake Island has two main motorized boater campgrounds (East and West). There was a third at the south end but it has washed away. The main (East) marina camp is where boats of all sizes dock and then campers wheel their stuff to the tent sites. The park ranger is here, a camp store, and the Tillicum Village. The other camp is on the west side not far from the Cascade Marine Trail Camp. It has no dock and fewer spots than the main site. The Cascade Marine Trail site is close enough to the West camp that you can walk to its bathroom with running water/sewer.
