Lake Sammamish State Park

Puget Sound Parks
Lake Sammamish State Park is a day-use park with 6,858 feet of waterfront on Lake Sammamish, located in Issaquah. It really seems like a city park, something to be managed by the city of Issaquah but the State Parks are responsible, and a fee is likely. The park provides thousands of visitors during the summer a place to lay in the sun and go swimming. Two huge beaches (at least for Washington standards) are available to enjoy. The rest of the park is deciduous forest and wetland vegetation. There is also a salmon-bearing creek and a great-blue-heron rookery on the property. The East Lake Sammamish Trail also leaves from here, a 7 mile gravel bike trail going north near the shore of the lake.
Access:
From I-90 in Bellevue, drive east to exit #15, and follow the signs.
The park address is 2000 NW Sammamish State Park, Issaquah, WA 98027
