Uintas Backpacking Trip

We did our first backpack with both kids. We hiked less than 2 miles into a lake called Cliff Lake in the Uinta Mountains. Great location with about 10 lakes within easy walking distances for young kids.

Here is Mt. Watson from Watson Lake.

In the morning we hiked up to more lakes and scrambled up this peak, Mt. Watson.

Only the bugs kept this from being the perfect camping area.

Dozer came along as well.
