Brian Head, Cedar Breaks, Coral Pink Sand Dunes
The kids and I drove down to southern Utah to drive up this county highpoint.
Final drive up Brian Head
Looking South
Looking Northwest
Looking West into Nevada
Southeast to Arizona
Nearby is Cedar Breaks National Monument. It's kind of a mini Bryce Canyon.
We also drove up Strawberry Point, another nearby highpoint.
Next we visited Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park.
Sand and cars, Maverick was in heaven.
We camped in the desert right on the Utah-Arizona border.
And just a few hours before I drove through Colorado City, Warren Jeffs was found guilty.
This is the Smithsonian Butte Trail, great views north into Zion National Park.
