Umtanum Ridge Highpoint
After a work training in Ellensburg, I headed into the hills south to climb this peak and spend the night; the training continued the next day.
This is the peak, doesn't look like much but it's a summit.
Durr Road is a rough road that gets you onto the ridge
Durr road drops into this canyon with a river ford of Umtanum Creek required in spring.
That's the summit in the distance. This 4X4 road travels the ridge crest all the way to the summit. Luckly I didn't get a flat or get stuck...nobody was anywhere around mid-week.
