After work on Thursday evening, we drove to Coeur d' Alene. The next morning, up into Canada and into the Rockies.

From the top of the Gondola, you can take an easy hike
up to Sanson Peak to see a historic weather station

Hiked up Johnson Canyon where metal walkways are
anchored into the rock walls allowing you to hike up
narrow canyons.

Although the weather was bad, we drove up to
Lake Louise to see it in the winter time. Walking
out on the lake was pretty cool. My brother and
I canoed to the very end around 12 years ago.
