Blewett Pass skiing

Nice day to get out, did some skiing on our way to Leavenworth. I had hoped to do 2 small peaks near the pass but after 45 minutes into the trip, Maverick started screaming. I couldn't figure out what was wrong...he wasn't cold. We tried to make him happy but it was really cold out and he had a slight head cold. So, we ended up turning around (just below the first peak) and after 25 minutes of him screaming in my ear I couldn't take it any longer. We changed his diaper, hoping that was it. Ok, so his pee turned into an ice ball...that might have explained the problem. One minute after putting him back in the pack, he was sleeping. O well, I'll just drive up the peaks this summer.
